في الفاتح من ايلول، حسب التأريخ على طريقة القذافي، صعدت، رفقة مهند صلاح (ابو سيدرا) الى خربة الهدف، التابعة لاراضي بلدة الخضر، لاقتفاء اثر الفلسطينيين القدماء الذين مشوا على طريق روماني ما زالت معالمه واضحة بشكل مدهش، لدفن موتاهم، بعد اجراء طقوس دينية، وكانت مفاجاة جميلة الالتقاء مرة اخرى بنوع محبب من الافاعي بالنسبة لي، ويبدو انه يكثر في بلادنا لانني سجلت وجوده في اكثر من منطقة، ووثقت ذلك في هذه المدونة.
لا اعرف اسمه الفلسطيني، اسمه العلمي (Roth’s Dwarf Snake (Eirenis rothi) وبالعبرية (שלוון טלוא ראש).
يصل طوله الى 35 بوصة، لونه يميل الى البيج باستثناء الراس المخطط، ويعتاش على العناكب والحشرات، وهو غير سام وليس عدوانيا.
